IASE ALUMNI MEETING

IASE Alumni from Pune arranged a meeting at 15 hrs on Sunday, 08 August 2012 in the IASE premises at Aundh. 23 alumni along with Dr Ashok Thorat shared their views on the nature of alumni
association and various ways and activities that can be undertaken in order to
bring together all the scattered world-over. It can also be used as a platform
for exchanging information, ideas and opportunities. Some of the decisions
taken in the meeting are as follows:
All the alumni should submit the alumni information sheet available on www.iasepune.org as early as possible. Since there is some technical snag in online submission, all are requested to fill it up and send as an attachment to email@example.com
Information about special achievements of the alumni to be shared, collected and communicated through the same e-mail ID.
A platform/interface/portal be created in order to
facilitate scholarly give and take as well as sharing of ideas,
opportunities and problems.
Short-term courses on subjects like pragmatics,
research and publications to be organized at the IASE in order to
crystallize the ideas of the alumni as well as other interested persons
Workshops on NET/SET, GRS and TOEFL to be organized
from time to time

related to decisions 1,2 & 3:

A group of coordinators to be identifies with 2-3
alumni representing each geographical area/zone like Pune, Solapur,
Satara-Sangli-Kolhapur, Marathwada, Vidarbha, North-Eastern States, North
India, South India, International (Middle East), International (East),
International (Rest), etc.
Once the coordinators are identified, they will
nominate one of them as the secretary for maintaining the Alumni
